Here are the build log images from the last few weeks of work. I am not going to fill this with a lot of text. I'll put in what what is necessary. |
The next five images show the central wire way with a 2.5" copper tube to help with the large number of wires. Turned out that this would not work. Got in the way of the 8800GTX cards. |
a closeup of rear panel V2.0 before adding the trim. |
The front panel during poly coating. |
The frame and such after some coats of poly and anfter sanding. |
The top panel during wiring for the fans. |
The additional wire way. This copper tube runs top to bottom at the left side of the case. |
Wooden washers and tabs for the latches to hold the motherboard and other things secure. |

The central wireway has latches to hold it into place (prior to finishing) |

and the same continues. Photos of the build as I was wiring components and installing hardware. |
This wiring issue required a little wire tray. |
The pivoting 3.5" drive bay |
Here's a narly glimps of how the wires are stowed in the 'basement' of the case. |
Here, the 5.25 power is coming up from the basement to reach the back of the drives. |
Here's another item that didn't make the cut. This istemperature fan monitor. I decided to keep things simple. |
The wiring included 5+ hours of electrical work. This included extending the 6 pin power to the motherboard. |
Things coming together. |
